About Us:

Founded in 1997 by two brothers from California, Green Beans Coffee began by serving handcrafted artisan coffee drinks to American service members deployed in Saudia Arabia and supplied coffee to many troops in combat zones through the Middle East. Their mission was simple but powerful: create a welcoming café atmosphere where troops could relax and feel a little closer to home. That same spirit of service, comfort, and connection lives on in every Green Beans location today.

John’s legacy lives on through the culture he built here: one rooted in service, kindness, and connection. As the first veteran to open a Green Beans Coffee location in the United States, John brought something truly special to Omaha—a place where people felt seen, supported, and part of a community. We’re Looking For:

• Full-time shift lead with strong customer and team service skills
• 1 year of leadership experience required; 2 years preferred with key leadership skills such as time management, handling employee related needs, providing recognition and feedback timely, inventory management, cash handling and payroll management.
• Reliable, trustworthy, high-energy individual who loves connecting with people
• Likes fast-pace environments
• Self-motivated and takes initiative
• Calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task
• Excellent communicator with strong understanding of setting clear directions, especially during busy times
• Enjoys customer and team service and environments and knows how to motivate a team to have fun while serving the customers and community
• Barista experience or a background in fast-paced food service is a plus—but we’ll train the right cultural fit!
• Team players who want to be part of something meaningful and community-driven
